Current studies indicate that periodontal disease can be transmittable.  Since twentieth century technology has allowed scientists to get a much better look at bacteria, we're now able to isolate and identify almost twenty different strains of bacteria implicated in periodontitis.  Studies now suggest the transmission of these same bacteria place family members at risk.  Schedule your family members for a complimentary periodontal screening.  If a more comprehensive examination is indicated for your family member, we can schedule an appointment.
