Periodontal & Implant Reconstruction
Working Together Achieving Optimum Oral Health

Procedures and Services

Our Mission is to assist you in regaining and to maintain optimal dental health through a patient-centered approach. We are able to provide virtually every service pertaining to periodontal treatment and implant placements in a comfortable, caring and safe environment.

Periodontics is the treatment of gum and oral bone diseases. Gingivitis (gum disease) and periodontal disease (involving bone and the supporting structures of the teeth) are most common in adults and are responsible for the majority of tooth loss. Since pain is not often a symptom of periodontal trouble, adults often neglect the problem far too long. Most periodontal diseases are preventable with professional treatment and proper oral hygiene.

Implants are a popular permanent tooth replacement option. They are used to replace one tooth or several teeth. An implant is surgically placed in the bone replacing both the lost tooth and the tooth root. The use of implants helps prevent gum shrinkage and provides a natural feel and appearance to your smile.

Tissue and Bone Regeneration is the repair of bone and soft tissue damage caused by trauma or pathological conditions.  The reconstruction may require specialized surgical techniques such as skin or bone grafts and the construction and placement of implants.

Soft Tissue Grafting is available to stop further dental problems and gum recession, and/or to improve the esthetics of your gum line.  A soft tissue graft can reduce further recession and bone loss.  In some cases, it can cover exposed roots to protect them from decay; this may reduce tooth sensitivity and improve esthetics of your smile.

Preventative Dentistry is our goal for every patient. It involves daily care, good nutrition, periodic examinations and cleanings that maintain optimal dental health. Periodontal exams should be an ongoing portion of every visit at the dental office.

Laser Surgery helps us perform certain procedures with ease.  It often omits the need for stitches and makes the tissue less prone to bleeding.

Sedation is available for our patients who's procedure requires it. We can provide the latest in hospital standard certified sedation techniques including oral sedation, local anesthesia and intravenous (IV) sedation with a board certified dental anesthesiologist.
